There are a number of great sites and services out there which provide up to date information and can offer support if you’re experiencing difficulties. It’s always important if you’re heading online in search for advice, to you make sure the sites you’re checking out are ‘above board’ and run by people who know their stuff and have your best interests at heart.

The following are some of our favs:

Reach Out! – this website is specially designed for 12-25 year olds. It aims to improve mental health in young people. It provides information, support, and forums.

BITE BACK – this is Black Dog Institute’s website for 12-18 year olds and aims to improve  wellbeing and mental fitness.

Youthbeyondblue – this website aims to help  18-25 years year olds  and their families and friends deal with depression.

eheadspace – this website  provides support and counselling to young people aged 12-25.
Cyber Smart: this site has lots of information about keeping yourself safe online, cyberbullying and protecting your digital reputation
